Xiaomi recently unveiled its three new devices Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G . These latest handsets of the Redmi Note 9 series have been launched in China. Design
Talking about the design, both the devices are exactly the same from the front. Both these devices have a bezel-less front and small punch-hole-notch and a chin. On the rear, the Redmi Note 9 Pro offers an aura balance design while the Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with a 5G gradient finish.
Display
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro have 6.67 inch full HD + LCD panel with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The displays of both these devices are of the same size and resolution but there is little difference in the refresh rate. The new Note 9 Pro 5G comes with 120Hz while the Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with a 60Hz refresh rate. However, Gorilla Glass 5 Protection has been given to protect the display panel of both handsets.
RAM, processor and storage
The Redmi Note 9 Pro has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. At the same time, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G variant has Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor which comes with 5G connectivity. The Note 9 Pro 5G has Adreno 619GPU while the Note 9 Pro has Adreno 618 GPU.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G variant has 256 GB inbuilt storage while the Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with 128 GB inbuilt storage. The Note 9 Pro has a separate micro-SD card slot while the Note 9 Pro comes with a 5G hybrid slot.
Camera
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G has 108 megapixel quad-rear camera setup while Note 9 Pro offers 48 megapixel primary camera. The Note 9 Pro 5G has a Samsung HM2 sensor while the Note 9 Pro has a Samsung ISOCELL GM2 sensor. Both devices also have 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 2-megapixel depth sensors. The Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with a 5 megapixel macro while the Note 9 Pro 5G variant comes with a 2 megapixel lens. The 16-megapixel front sensor has been given in both phones for selfies.
Talking about the battery and charging battery, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G has a 4820mAh battery, which supports 33 watts fast charging. At the same time, 5020mAh battery is provided in the Redmi Note 9 Pro, which comes with 18 watt fast charging support. Both devices have a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging.
Price
Redmi Note 9 Pro’s 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 13,999, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 14,999 and 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999. At the same time, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G’s 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant for 1,599 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 17,990), 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant for 1,799 Chinese Yuan (about 20,242 rupees) and 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant. Has been launched for 1,999 Chinese Yuan (around Rs 22,493).
