Anywhere Registration policy- The government has passed the policy and sent the file to the Lieutenant Governor for approval. After the formalization of the policy, property registration can be done in any sub-registrar office in Delhi.
If you live in the country’s capital New Delhi, then there is good news for you. Now after purchasing a property, you will be able to get it registered in any sub-registrar office in Delhi. This means that if you buy a property in Hauz Khas, you will also be able to get it registered at Nangloi Sub-Registrar Office.
Till now the rule is that the property is registered in the same office under the authority of the sub-registrar. Apart from registration, other work related to property transfer can also be done in any sub-registrar office.
Delhi Government has named this policy Anywhere Registration Policy and has passed it. Under this, people will now be able to get property registered by taking an online appointment as per their convenience in any of the 22 sub-registrar offices of Delhi. With this, the compulsion of people to go to the sub-registrar office decided according to the area for registration will be eliminated.
The file was sent to the Governor for approval
According to a report by news agency PTI, Delhi Revenue Minister Atishi said that the Revenue Department has now decided to come up with an ‘Any Wear Registration’ policy. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has passed this policy and the file has been sent to the Lieutenant Governor for notification.
Many complaints were coming
Minister Atishi said that many types of complaints were coming regarding the sub-registrar offices. People are facing problems due to huge crowd for registration in many offices. There are many sub-registrar offices where there is not much crowd. Where there is more crowd, brokers are active there and corruption takes place.
