Reliance Jio Phone delivery Second Phase of Pre-booking Begins



As per the recent reports, Reliance Jio has started the sales of its ambitious JioPhone again. The telecom company has started sending messages to customers with an attached link to buy the advanced 4G VoLTE feature phone. The link has a code which the customer is required to show at the nearest Jio outlet to get the Jio phone.

For those who are not aware about Jio phone, the 4G-enabled feature phone is priced at Rs 1,500 which is refundable after a duration of three years provided the user returns the device. One more important thing to know about pre-booking is that at the time of booking the person needs to pay Rs 500 upfront and the rest Rs 1,000 at the time of delivery.



As far as specifications are concerned, JioPhone offers smart features such as – voice assistant, the ability to support Jio apps like JioTV, etc. It gets a 2.4-inch QVGA display and is a single SIM phone. The phone also supports a micro SD card slot, torchlight, FM Radio and SOS option. There’s also a 2 MP rear-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. The processor is dual-core SPRD 9820A/QC8905 one and there’s 512 MB RAM onboard, along with 4 GB storage, which is expandable to 128 GB. The device is backed by a 2000 mAh battery inside.

  5. Service is useless. Bought a Jio SIM recently two days back from your Reliance Jio Office, Mr Yohan attended me and promised to visit my place to see the connectivity. Earlier also I informed your customer care but nobody seems to attend. Only interested in selling, no after sales service. 598/- gone down the drain

    • i had booked 2 jio phones in the first phase pre booking. i have been receiving sms to collect the same from their shop which i have not done and requested them to cancel the same and refund me rs. 500+500.

      i was told that cancellation can not be done but i can give it to anyone desiring the same. hence i am interested in giving my mobile to someone who is interested. discount can be considered.

    • Jio phone is very very slow device .It is very bed device .No voice work. No net work.in properly.no vedio call .No t.v.work it is very poor device. It is only children toy. It is very bed device in all world. His phone service is very bed . Pls no purchase this device any person.

  11. I am having smartphone for jio sim ,is it mandatory to buy jio phone. But I am not at all able to do either voice calls nor accessible of data since three months jio company is unable to install antenna eventhoug tower is ready. What is the use of only tower!?.

  107. It is a phone Which is only good for calling and conversing with a person from one place. Other things related to the browsing websides are not of much use as we have to continuously press the buttons to type what we want to search.

Till date the recommonded accessories like cable to connect the phone to TV for the JIO phone supplied in the first phase are not supplied by JIO and also not available in the market.When enquired with JIO,the customer care and service centre personal expressed their helplessness regarding the availability of the above accessory.What the fun in booking the phone once again without completing the supply of the accessories for the first phase.

  147. I purchased a new jio phone n with in 1 week t phone Wii switch off automatic…n ask for new software….how it possible t software distroy automatic….is there any chance for jio to provide a new phone or to update new software in free….pls reply….
