Reliance Jio, the country’s largest telecom company, has given a big gift to customers on the new year. The company has announced to make voice calling free on all networks (Off-Net) on Thursday. The company has taken this step based on the guidelines of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Customers will start getting the benefit of this facility from 1 January 2021. This directly means that customers will now be able to avail unlimited calling from Jio on the network of Airtel, Vodafone-Idea and BSNL too.
Please tell that from Jio, there is a facility of unlimited free calling on Jio network. At the same time, non-live minutes were given according to the plan for calling on other networks. In fact, TRAI had extended the bill implementation timeline in September 2019 and extended the IUC (Interconnect Usage Charge) system beyond January 1, 2020. Due to IUC, Jio was charging 6 paise per minute for making calls from its users to other networks.

Reliance Jio users will now be able to take advantage of free calling on any network number in Jio’s plan . Popular plans that offer the benefit of free voice calling start at Rs 129. In Jio’s Rs 129 prepaid recharge plan, users will get 2GB data every day. The validity of this plan is 28 days. In the plan, you will now be able to make unlimited calling on any network number. Apart from this, in Jio’s Rs 149 plan, users will get 1GB of data every day. The validity of this plan is 24 days. That is, users will get total 24GB data. 42 GB data in 199 plan
Reliance Jio’s Rs 199 plan will get 1.5GB of data every day. The validity of this plan is 28 days. That is, users will get total 42GB data on recharging this plan. Now free calling will be available on any network number in the plan. Another popular plan of Jio is Rs 555. In this plan, 1.5GB data will be available every day with free calling. The validity of this plan is 84 days. Users will get total 126GB data in the plan. These are all existing plans of Jio and now the benefit of free calling is started in them.
