Revolt Motors has launched its new bikes RV1 and RV1+, entering the commuter segment. The company claims that this electric bike is almost three times more economical than any petrol model. Its starting price is Rs 84,990.

Revolt Motors, the country’s leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has officially launched its first electric bike Revolt RV1 for sale in the commuter segment. This bike has been introduced in a total of two variants. The starting price of its base variant has been fixed at Rs 84,990 (ex-showroom).

Motorcycles account for 70% of all two-wheelers sold in India and more than 80 lakh units of vehicles are sold annually in the commuter segment. In such a situation, Revolt Motors has entered a big segment with RV1. This is the cheapest bike in the company’s portfolio. The company has also started its official booking. Customers can book it from the company’s official website and authorized dealerships for just Rs 499.

Variants and price:

RV1 is available in four colors along with its premium variant RV1+, which has a starting price of Rs 84,990 for RV1 and Rs 99,990 for RV1+. Both variants are basically based on the RV series and there is a slight difference in their look and design. But a big difference is seen in their battery pack and range.

Look and design:

The look and design of this bike is quite similar to the company’s previous RV300 model. However, it has a round-shaped LED headlight. Apart from this, LED has also been used in indicators and license plate. Wide tires, dual-disc brakes, portable waterproof battery, LCD display, reverse mode make this bike even better.

Battery-pack and driving range:

The company has given a battery pack of 2.2 kW capacity in the base model i.e. RV1. At the same time, a 3.24 kW battery pack has been given in RV1 +. Its smaller battery pack gives a driving range of 100 km in a single charge and the larger battery pack gives a driving range of 160 km in a single charge. The company says that this bike has been built on a strong frame which is capable of carrying a maximum load of up to 250 kg.

Charging and top speed:

The top speed of both the bikes is 70 km / h. However, it takes about 2.15 hours to charge the RV1 battery from 0 to 80 percent. At the same time, the RV1+ battery can be charged up to 80 percent in 3.30 hours. The RV1 weighs 108 kg while the RV1 Plus weighs 110 kg. The company has given 240 mm disc brakes in both the bikes.

Suspension:

In the Revolt RV series, the company has given telescopic fork suspension in the front and monoshock suspension in the rear. Its seat height is 790 mm, which means this bike is also very good for people of average height. It has a wheelbase of 1350 mm. Apart from this, two people can easily sit on a single piece long seat.

Warranty:

Revolt Motors is giving a warranty of 5 years or 75,000 km on this bike. Apart from this, a 2-year warranty is being given on the charger. You can charge the battery of this bike by connecting it to your regular household socket.
