An agreement has been signed between Paytm and Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) to provide benefits to roadways bus passengers. Under this agreement, instant discount will be given on online ticket booking through Paytm app. In this, the user will be given the benefit of instant discount of Rs 150.

UP Roadways passengers can also book tickets through Paytm on major routes like Lucknow-Delhi, Lucknow-Gorakhpur, Lucknow-Agra, Delhi-Haridwar, Bareilly-Delhi, Lucknow-Varanasi. UP Roadways also operates buses in the states of Tripura, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha etc. You can also take advantage of ticket booking on these routes.
1000 new buses will be added to the fleet of UP Roadways.
The Uttar Pradesh government has started the process of equipping the roadways buses in the state with modern facilities and adding 1,000 new buses to the fleet. The Transport Department official said that in the year 2023-24, a budget of Rs 400 crore was approved to add 1000 buses to the fleet of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). In the recent cabinet meeting, approving the fleet of buses, an installment of Rs 200 crore out of Rs 400 crore has been released.
It was told by the Transport Department that the target is to complete the process of purchasing 1000 buses and including them in the fleet within the financial year 2023-24. After the inclusion of new buses in the fleet, traveling in UPSRTC buses will be more comfortable than before.
