Like every month, many rules are changing this month i.e. from 1st November 2024, which is going to have a direct impact on the pockets of the common people. The price of 19KG commercial gas cylinder has increased, while the rules for train ticket booking, credit card, banking rules and money transfer have changed. In such a situation, it is very important to know about these rules, otherwise you may have to suffer loss. Let us know which rules have changed.

First change – LPG gas prices increased

With the beginning of the new month, the price of LPG cylinder (LPG Cylinder Price Hike) has been increased. From today, the price of LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 62. Oil companies have increased the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder (19kg LPG Price). Companies have not made any change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic cylinder.

In Delhi, the price of cylinder has increased from Rs 1740 to Rs 1802. In Kolkata, the cylinder has increased from Rs 1850.50 to Rs 1911.50. At the same time, 19 kg LPG cylinder in Mumbai will be available for Rs 1754 instead of Rs 1692.50. In Chennai, this cylinder has increased from Rs 1903 to Rs 1964.

Second change – ATF and CNG-PNG rates

Along with LPG gas, the price of CNG-PNG is also increased, but this month there has been no change in its price. However, the price of Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) has been revised. In the last few months, there has been a reduction in the price of aviation fuel. In October, the price of ATF had come down from Rs 93,480.22 per kilolitre to Rs 87,597.22 per kilolitre. However, now its price has increased and in Delhi its price has become Rs 90,538.72 per kilolitre.

Third change – Credit card rules changed

State Bank of India’s (SBI) subsidiary SBI Card is going to implement a big change from November 1, which is related to utility bill payments and finance charges through its credit card. From November 1, 3.75 finance charge will have to be paid every month on un-secured SBI credit card. Apart from this, 1 percent extra charge will have to be paid on payment of more than Rs 50,000 in utility services including electricity, water, LPG gas.

Fourth change – Money transfer rules

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced new rules for domestic money transfer (DMT), which will come into effect from November 1, 2024. The purpose of these rules is to prevent misuse of banking channels for fraud.

Fifth big change – Train ticket change

Indian Railways’ train ticket advance reservation period (ARP), which does not include the day of travel, has been reduced from 120 days to 60 days from November 1, 2024. The aim of this amendment is to maintain the convenience of passengers while streamlining the ticket purchase process.

Sixth change – Increased limit regarding UPI

From November 1, 2024, two major changes are going to happen in the UPI Lite platform. Now UPI Lite users will be able to make more payments. RBI has also increased its transaction limit. Apart from this, another change has been made, which states that the UPI Lite balance will be below a fixed limit. With the new auto top-up feature, money will be added to UPI Lite again.

7th change – Banks will not work for 13 days

Banks will remain closed on many occasions in November. Banks will remain closed for a total of 13 days in November. During these bank holidays, you can complete your banking related work and transactions using the online services of banks. These services are available 24X7.
