Which documents will be needed-
- Investment in Sahara should have membership number.
- Apart from this, the number of the deposit account is also required.
- Link mobile number with Aadhaar.
- Deposit holder’s passbook will also be needed.
- Apart from this, if the amount is more than 50,000 then PAN card number will also be required.
How to get refund money-
- To get Sahara refund, first of all you have to click on the official link https://cooperation.gov.in.
- After the portal is opened, you will have to register yourself first.
- Aadhaar number will be required for registration. Your Aadhaar should be linked with mobile number.
- After entering the Aadhaar number, an OTP will come on your mobile number, which you will have to enter.
- After this you will get the form.
- After downloading this form, it has to be filled and scanned and uploaded on the portal.
- Now the information given by you will be checked and after that the refund money will be sent to the account.
Who can apply for Sahara refund?
Through the CRCA Sahara refund portal, the investors who have invested money in the 4 societies of Sahara will get refund money. This includes the names of Sahara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Kolkata, Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Lucknow, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Bhopal and Start Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, Hyderabad.
Investors before March 22, 2022 will get money
Apart from this, according to the information received on the portal, even before March 22, 2022, all the investors who have invested money in the Sahara scheme. All of them can apply for refund through this portal.
Initially you will get Rs 10,000
Initially, depositors will get a refund of up to Rs 10,000. Later the amount will be increased for those who have invested more. He said that the Rs 5,000 crore fund would be able to provide relief to 1.7 crore depositors in the first phase.
