Samsung has started reopening its stores in India. Stores are being opened in Green and Orange zones, the company said that social distancing and sanitization will be strictly followed.
Samsung India has announced to open its brand stores across the country. These include the company’s exclusive stores – Samsung Smart Cafe and Samsung Smart Plaza.
The company is opening its stores from this week. The company has made this decision after the zonal and safety guidelines issued by the government, which has been implemented from May 4.
The company’s smartphones and accessories are sold at the Samsung Smart Cafe, while all Samsung’s consumer electronics such as refrigerators and washing machines are available at the Samsung Plaza.
Apart from this, smartphones are also found here. The company has also extended the validity of the brand store loyalty program Smart Club Points till June 30.
The company has said that whose points were expiring from March to May 2020, now they can redeem by June 30. The company has said that all smart cafes and smart plazas will fully comply with the rules of social distancing and sanitization.
Samsung has said that initially Samsung Smart Cafe and Smart Plaza will be opened in a phased manner. First to be opened in Green and Orange zones.
It is being sanitized before opening stores. Hand sanitizer will be provided at every stores and it will be necessary to use it at all touch points.
The company has said that in all Samsung stores it will be ensured that the distance of the people there is 1.5 meters from each other. The company has also said that the consultant is being trained for hygiene safety so that it can be followed. Experience gloves and customers will also be provided in stores.
