New Delhi: Global tech companies have distanced themselves from China and moved to India in the last few years. This includes Samsung, the world’s second largest smartphone maker. The Samsung company has decided to relocate itself from China to India’s Uttar Pradesh. Information about this has been given by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The Yogi government will provide financial assistance of about Rs 5,000 crore to set up a Samsung company in the state on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government.

Setting up a Samsung company in Uttar Pradesh will boost PM Modi’s Make in India campaign. This will help make India a manufacturing hub. On behalf of Uttar Pradesh, Samsung will be given the benefit of transfer of land and tax exemption to set up the factory as financial support. Several benefits were demanded from the Uttar Pradesh government on behalf of Samsung, including tax exemption, to help the company set up a display factory.

Central government’s campaign will benefit
With Samsung’s display factory set up in Uttar Pradesh, about 510 direct jobs will be generated immediately. The factory will be operational by next year. Explain that Samsung is the second largest mobile phone manufacturing company in the world. Explain that in the same year, $ 6.65 billion was announced by the Central Government to help 16 tech companies to set up manufacturing plans domestically. This included Samsung and Apple’s top supplier companies Foxconn, Wistron and Pegatron.
