SBI PO Prelims Exam 2023 Preparation Tips : State Bank of India Prelims Exam will be conducted soon for the post of Probationary Officer. The exam date is not clear yet but it is estimated that the exam can be conducted on some date in the next month i.e. November.

The examination is conducted in two phases

The examination for the post of SBI PO is conducted in two phases. First a pre-examination is conducted and then those who pass it appear for the mains exam. Talking about the pattern of this exam, PO pre exam is objective type and is conducted in online mode. There are three sections in it and different timings are fixed for each section. There are total questions of 100 marks.

How many questions from which subject?

The three sections of SBI PO Pre Exam are as follows – English – It has 30 questions and you get 20 minutes to solve it. The second section is Quantitative Aptitude – it has 35 questions and you get 20 minutes to solve this section. The third section is of reasoning ability. There are 35 questions in this and the same amount of time is given. A total of 100 questions have to be attempted in one hour.

Prepare like this in less time

  • To pass the examination, it is important that the candidate first understands the syllabus properly and only then proceed further.
  • In the next step, select the right books and stick to them till the end.
  • Keep clearing the basics and if you get stuck somewhere, clear the doubt there itself, otherwise many questions get accumulated for later.
  • Practice is the only way to achieve success in the examination. Practice a lot and keep solving mock tests.
  • Take out time separately for the section where you are stuck or doing something wrong and clear all the doubts.
  • Solve last year’s practice papers and after solving them, check where you are getting stuck and how much time is taking to solve which section. It is important to learn time management.
  • Read newspaper daily and keep reading all the news related to the bank carefully.
