There are many such government schemes of the Government of India that provide financial assistance to the students. There are many such scholarship schemes, which give financial assistance to the students every month.
One such scheme is the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme. Under this scheme, a scholarship of Rs 3,000 is given to girls and Rs 2500 to boys every month. The date to apply for this scheme has been fixed for the academic year 2022-23. Candidates can apply till 30 November to avail the scholarship.
Eligibility
Under the PM Scholarship Scheme, every year 5500 ex-servicemen, sons and daughters of widows from across the country are given scholarship facility. This scheme has been started to give grant up to Rs 1 lakh to the students. 10th, 12th and graduate pass candidates can avail PM Scholarship Scheme. This scheme was started in 2006. The duration of grant is determined on the basis of the course. Up to 1-5 years is allowed. To take advantage of this scheme, it will be mandatory for the student to pass from a recognized school/university/college with 60% marks. Students studying abroad will not be eligible to apply for this scheme.
Application Process
To apply, Aadhaar card, bank passbook, residence certificate, 10th and 12th mark sheet, ex-serviceman certificate, passport size photo and ESM certificate will be required. To apply, first of all go to the official website of Kendriya Sainik Board Secretariat, ksb.gov.in. Then click on the registration option. Fill all the details properly in the application form. Complete the application process by clicking on the submit button.
