Academic Session 2024-25 Admissions: It has been decided that in all Sarvodaya Vidyalayas, students will be given admission on vacant seats in pre-primary and primary classes on first come first serve basis. Heads of schools have been instructed to comply with the guidelines for admissions.

Academic Session 2024-25 Admissions : The Education Department has issued a notification regarding admission on vacant seats in pre-primary and primary classes in government Sarvodaya Vidyalayas for the academic session 2024-25. Admissions on vacant seats will start from 15th April.

It has been decided that in all Sarvodaya Vidyalayas, students will be given admission on vacant seats in pre-primary and primary classes on first come first serve basis. Heads of schools have been instructed to comply with the guidelines for admissions.

The maximum capacity of the Pre-Primary/Primary section is 40 students, and the seats of students placed under long absence for the current session, unless the student gets admission in another school (with documentary proof), are not vacated. Will be considered.

According to the notification, the seats of students who remained absent for a long period during the previous years and could not be traced despite the best efforts of the school authorities or who got admission in some other school will be treated as vacant seats.

Who will be given priority?

Preference will be given to those applicants who have applied for admission on transfer basis from Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. Children living within a radius of 1 km of the school (if Sarvodaya Vidyalaya is not available nearby, then residents living within a radius of 3 km of the school) will be eligible to apply.
