Schools will remain closed in Himachal for 38 days from June 22 to July 29. Students will also get four days off during Diwali, six days off two to three days before the festival of Lohri, taking the summer schools to a total of 52 days off.
School Summer Holidays: There is good news for school students. The Himachal Pradesh government has announced summer, winter and monsoon holidays. Under this, schools will remain closed for 38 days from June 22 to July 29. Same students will get four days holidays during Diwali also, two to three days before Lohri festival there will be six days holidays, in this case there will be total 52 days holidays in summer schools.

- Rainy holidays in winter schools will be from July 22 to July 27. School students will get a total of 4 days off on the occasion of Diwali.
- Schools will remain closed from 1 January to 11 February 2024 for the winter season.

In Madhya Pradesh, there will be summer vacation in schools from 1st May to 15th June and holiday for teachers has been declared from 1st May to 9th June. Whereas in Chhattisgarh, from May 1, 2023 to June 15, 2023, the dates of summer vacation have been announced for a total of 46 days.

Summer vacation has been announced in schools in Uttar Pradesh for 40 days from May 21 to June 20. In Odisha, summer vacations have been declared in schools from May 5 to June 18. In Jharkhand, summer vacations have been announced from May 21 to June 10, the new academic session 2023-24 will start from June 12. Summer vacations have been declared for schools in West Bengal from May 2 and Odisha from May 5 to June 18.
