School Holiday extended again: Chhattisgarh’s Bhupesh Baghel government has extended the holiday till June 25 and UP’s Yogi government has extended it till June 26. Bihar’s Patna District Magistrate has also banned all educational activities up to class 12 till June 24. As per the new order, the schools will remain closed for the next one week.
School Holiday / Summer Vacation 2023: There is relief news for school students. In view of the scorching heat, many states including Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand have extended summer vacations in government schools. Orders have also been issued in this regard.
School closed in Jharkhand on June 21
All government and private schools in Jharkhand will remain closed till June 21. An order in this regard was issued by the School Education and Literacy Department on Sunday, June 18. Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, K.K. Ravi Kumar informed that schools from class KG to class VIII in the state will remain closed from June 19 to June 21. While the class from class 9 to 12 will run from 7 am to 11 am. This order will be applicable to all government, non-government aided and private schools in the state.
Holidays extended in UP-Chhattisgarh and Bihar as well
In view of the havoc of the scorching heat, the government of Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh have also extended the summer vacation. Chhattisgarh’s Bhupesh Baghel government has extended the holiday till June 25 and UP’s Yogi government has extended it till June 26. Bihar’s Patna District Magistrate has also banned all educational activities up to class 12 till June 24.
As per the new order, the schools will remain closed for the next one week. The order will be effective till June 24. Schools will open in Odisha from June 21 instead of June 19. In a letter issued by the Education Department on the instructions of the state government, it has been said that after careful consideration, the government has now issued instructions to reopen the schools on June 21, 2023, under the School and Mass Education Department.
Now schools will open in MP from July
In view of the scorching heat (MP Summer Holidays) in Madhya Pradesh, the summer vacation has been changed once again. Now the schools of children from class 1 to 5 in the state will open from July 1. On the other hand, schools for children from class 6th to 10th will open from June 20.
Although there will be a change in the timing of the school. Under this, classes in schools from class six to 12 will be conducted in the morning shift from June 20 to June 30. Class 5th examinations will be held as per the prescribed time table. This information has been tweeted by MP School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar himself.
