Earlier schools in the state had a holiday till June 15 and after that it was extended till June 25. It was decided to extend the holiday once again on Sunday. Now there will be holiday in schools till July 2. All schools will open from July 3.
School Holiday/Summer Vacation 2023: There is relief news for school students. In view of the scorching heat, once again many states have changed the summer vacation. In Uttar Pradesh, once again the summer vacation in schools has been extended by a week. Now the schools will remain closed in the state till 2nd July and will open from 3rd July. The State Basic Education Council has issued an order in this regard. According to the order, it will be necessary for government as well as recognized schools to follow the instructions.

According to the order, the duration of summer vacations has been extended in all recognized schools under Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council. All the work will be done smoothly when the school opens on 3rd July. Especially on the opening of the school, other works related to midday meal, distribution of textbooks, direct benefit transfer will be completed.

Apart from this, the holidays have also been extended in Maharashtra, under which the schools which are run by the Municipal Corporation and the Zilla Parishad will now be opened on June 30 instead of June 26. Even till June 30, if there is no change in the weather, then the next decision of the administration will be awaited, the schools will have to implement the decision taken by the administration. Now all schools in Vidarbha (Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Amravati, Akola, Chandpur, Gadchiroli, Wardha, Yavatmal and Washim) will remain closed till June 30.
Due to the heat in Patna’s capital Patna, the holidays of all schools in Patna district have been extended. Patna DM Dr Chandrashekhar Singh has ordered all government and non-government schools in the district to be closed till June 28. DM Chandrasekhar has issued an order in this regard. Earlier, the school was ordered to be closed from 19 to 24 June. As per the order, all schools up to class 12 will remain closed till June 28. June 29 is a government holiday for Bakrid. Due to this, a decision will be taken on the opening of schools on Friday, June 30. Apart from this, schools for children from classes 1 to 5 will open in Madhya Pradesh from July 1.
