School Winter Vacation News : Delhi government has cut the winter vacation of students. Not only this, the Education Department Directorate has issued a circular regarding this. In the circular, the department has clarified that the winter holiday ( school holiday ) which was to be given to students and teachers from January 1 to January 15, will now be given only from January 1 to 6.
Winter vacation has already been given due to poor air quality
Explaining the reason behind doing so, the department wrote in the circular that, keeping in mind the health of the students and due to poor AQI in Delhi NCR, a part of the winter vacation was celebrated from November 9 to November 18. And now due to this, the second part of the holiday has been scheduled only from January 1 to 6. This information has been given by the department to the parents and teachers of the students.
Schools will remain closed for so many days in December also
Let us tell you that apart from winter holidays, it has also been decided to give many government holidays to the students in the month of December. In this, holidays will be given on Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year Eve. However, granting leave or not to these two completely depends on the school management.
