School-colleges and government offices will also remain closed on 22 and 25 November. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Chief Secretary.

School office Close : There is news of work for the employees, students and teachers of Haryana. The state government has announced 2 days holiday in November. In view of the third phase of Panchayat elections, the Haryana government has declared two-day holiday in 4 districts of Faridabad, Palwal, Fatehabad and Hisar. School-colleges and government offices will also remain closed on 22 and 25 November. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Chief Secretary.

In fact, in the 4 districts of the state Faridabad, Palwal, Fatehabad and Hisar, elections are to be held for the post of Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti on November 22 and for the post of Panch and Sarpanch on November 25, 2022, due to which the state government has decided to increase the jurisdiction of these four districts. There will be a public holiday in offices, boards, corporations and educational institutions etc. There will be a holiday in offices under the Representation of the People Act, 1951 and the Haryana Panchayati Act, 1954 and in commercial establishments under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

Notification issued

Factories, commercial establishments, shops etc. located in the areas of Panchayati Raj Institutions will also be a public holiday on November 22 and November 25, 2022. The special thing is that the employees working in these offices and institutions will be able to exercise their franchise. A notification has been issued by Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal regarding the holidays.
