Sleeper Vande Bharat Express: India’s most popular train Vande Bharat Express is all set to bring its sleep coach version by next year. According to the report of news agency PTI, officials have said that the new design of sleeper coach is being manufactured by Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML).

arrival of Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains will be a significant increase in the fleet of Indian Railways. These will provide passengers a pleasant experience of traveling long distances in high-speed trains overnight. The aim of the indigenous semi-light-speed train is to provide a new experience to the passengers.
According to media reports, it is being said that this train has better berths and luxurious interior as compared to the existing sleeper coaches of other trains. A lot of work has also been done regarding toilets in the train.
The three key areas that Railways is focusing on with the new sleeper version are – speed, safety and survivability.
ICF is also developing a new type of Vande Bharat train called ‘Vande Metro’. This will be a 12-coach train, which has been designed for short distance travel.
14-minute cleaning’ concept
Meanwhile, the Railways has rolled out the ’14-minute cleaning’ concept for Vande Bharat trains from October 1, modeled on Japan’s bullet train model where trains are cleaned in seven minutes. . Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that each Vande Bharat train will be cleaned in 14 minutes compared to three hours.
