According to a statement from the Railway Ministry, the Vande Bharat Express train was first started between Delhi and Varanasi in February 2019. Since then many improvements have been made in it. At present, 34 pairs of Vande Bharat Express chair car and executive class trains are being run in the country.

Vande Bharat Express has such capability that it can leave Rajdhani Express train behind. Its speed will be so fast that it will reach the destination faster than other trains. At the same time, it can attract passengers traveling by air.

The new Vande Bharat Express train will have 823 seats. This means that 823 passengers will be able to travel in one train. There will be a total of 16 coaches in the Sleeper Vande Bharat Express, which will include one AC1, four AC2 and 11 AC3 class coaches. All coaches will have a mini pantry and three toilets. This train will be world class in terms of comfort and safety. It will connect 24 states of India and cover 33 routes.
In future the speed will be 220 kilometers!
The Railway Ministry said in its statement that in the coming time it will be further upgraded and then its speed will be 220 kilometers per hour. However, it is currently being designed for a maximum speed of 220 kilometers per hour. At this speed the train will run for long distances. Sleeper Vande Bharat Express train will reduce the journey time by 25 to 45 percent.
