The company has announced an increase in the monthly salary by making changes in the salary structure of the pilots. Under this, the employees will get the benefit of up to 7 lakhs. This hike will come into effect from 1 November 2022.
According to media reports, SpiceJet has made changes in the salary structure of its captains and pilots. Under this, while announcing the salary increase, it has been said that now they will be paid Rs 7 lakh by increasing the monthly remuneration by about 55 percent for 80 hours of flight every month. This increase in salary will be applicable from 1st November 2022. After the latest hike, the salary of a Captain in SpiceJet will be higher as compared to his pre-Covid salary.

Not only this, the salary of Trainer and Senior First Officer has also been increased “proportionately”. SpiceJet said that the company is continuously increasing the basic pay of the pilots. Compared to August, the salary for September was increased by 10% for trainers and by 8% for captains and first officers. Now the salary of Captains and First Officers has been increased by 22% from October before Diwali.
