In this, the photograph of the child, Aadhar card of the parents, birth certificate of the daughter and other documents also have to be attached with the form. You have to submit these forms and documents to the nearest post office or bank. After this, the bank or post office staff will open the account after verifying your form and documents.

If you want to check balance in SSY then you will have to use netbanking. You have to enter Username and Password. After this, you will see the list of all the accounts, then you will have to click on the account statement on the left side of it. Here you will see the list of all the accounts. Now you have to enter your SSY account number, after which you will see the balance in the account on the screen.
