Whereas the 50-point Nifty opened at the level of 15,845.10. In today’s trading session, buying is being seen in 1604 shares, while 572 shares have seen a sell-off and there is no change in 105 shares.
In the early trade, 23 out of 30 Sensex stocks were seen trading with green marks. On the other hand, Eicher Motors, JSW Steel, Maruti, Titan and Tata Stell were among the top gainers of Nifty on Monday. On the other hand, Ultratech Cement, Shree Cement, Tech Mahindra, NTPC and Dr Reddy were among the top losers of Nifty.
Tremendous rebound in the US market
There was a tremendous rebound in the US market. Twitter’s share fell more than 9 percent after Elon Musk’s announcement of holding the Twitter deal. On the other hand, Tesla’s stock registered a jump of 5.7 percent. European markets also saw a rise of 2 to 2.5 percent.
Market condition last week
Earlier, after falling for six consecutive days, the 30-point Sensex closed 136.69 points down at 52,793.62 points at the end of trading on Friday. On the other hand, Nifty lost 25.85 points and closed at 15,782.15. Being the last trading day of the week, there was also a period of profit recovery in the market.
