The company has suffered a loss in the sale of hatchbacks and sub-compact sedans. Maruti sold 84,660 units in August 2023. At the same time, in August 2024, the company has sold 68,699 units.
At the same time, sales of the company’s utility vehicles such as Brezza, Ertiga and Grand Vitara can see an increase. A total of 62,684 units of these vehicles were sold last month. But in August 2023, 58,746 units of this segment of Maruti were sold.
Hyundai
Hyundai India’s domestic sales can also be seen declining. In August 2024, the company has sold a total of 49,525 units in the country. At the same time, 53,830 units were sold in August 2023. The company exported 17,605 units in this month last year. At the same time, this time in August 2024, Hyundai has exported 13,650 units.
Tata Motors
Tata Motors has sold less in every segment of passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and export in August 2024 as compared to August 2023. Tata Motors sold 45,933 passenger vehicles in August 2023. At the same time, 44,486 units were sold in August 2024.
There has also been a loss of 3 percent in domestic sales. In August 2024, 44,142 units were sold in the country. At the same time, 45,513 units were sold in August 2023.
