Free JioHotstar Subscription: Mukesh Ambani has launched JioHotstar by merging JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar. Reliance Jio is offering premium subscription of JioHotstar to many users for free. The company is offering free subscription to such users who already had free subscription of Jio Cinema or Disney Plus Hotstar. JioHotstar subscription plan starts at Rs 149.
Free JioHotstar Subscription: Reliance Jio has launched JioHotstar platform just before IPL and ICC Champion Trophy 2025. This OTT platform is formed by the merger of Jio Cinema and Hotstar. The company has made the website of the new platform live. Along with this, its existing apps have been rebranded on Android, iOS, and Smart TV.
With the launch of the new platform JioHotstar, subscription plans have also been made live. The company is also offering free subscription to many users. Here we are giving you information about such users, to whom the company is giving free subscription.
Which users are getting free JioHotstar subscription?
Reliance Jio is also giving free subscription of its new OTT platform Jio Hotstar to many users. However, this is only available to those users who fulfill the terms of the company. Here we are giving you information about them in detail.
- If you have a subscription of Disney + Hotstar: Users who already had a subscription of Disney + Hotstar. They are being offered a free subscription of JioHotstar. Along with this, users are being offered all the services available with their old subscription. In such a situation, if a user’s subscription is left for only one month, then they are getting a 1-month subscription of Jio Hotstar.
- JioCinema subscription: Like Disney Plus Hotstar, if a user has a monthly or annual subscription of JioCinema, then they are also getting a subscription of Jio Hotstar.
- With mobile or broadband plan: Users who get free subscription of Hotstar or Jio Cinema with telecom plan – mobile or broadband. They will also continue to get Jio Hotstar subscription as before.
How to check JioHotstar plan
If you already had a plan of Jio Cinema or Disney Plus. Now after merging with Jio Hotstar, you want to check your subscription status, then for this first you have to login. As soon as you login to JioHotstar with phone number or email, you will get the status of your subscription.
Along with this, users who had selected autopay for Jio Cinema subscription. It will be cancelled. That is, when your subscription ends, you will have to buy a subscription of JioHotstar, for which you can enable autopay.
