Top 10 Best Selling Smartphones: Apple iPhone 15 is once again at the top of the list of top 10 best-selling smartphones. Counterpoint Research has released its data for the third quarter, 2024. According to this, iPhone 15 was the best-selling smartphone in the third quarter of 2024. It is followed by iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max in second and third place. Another iPhone that made it to the list is the iPhone 14 which was launched in 2022. Apple iPhone 14 secured the 9th position in the list.
5 out of the 10 best-selling phones are from Samsung
5 phones in the list of top smartphones are from Samsung. 10 smartphones dominated the list, reflecting the strong Samsung-iPhone dominance in the market. Out of the 5 Samsung phones in the list, 4 are from the Galaxy A series, namely – Samsung Galaxy A15 4G, Samsung Galaxy A15 5G, Samsung Galaxy A05 and Samsung Galaxy A35.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 is the first Galaxy S model to top the third quarter global rankings since 2018, securing the 10th spot. Samsung attributes this success to its generic AI (GenAI) features.
