Trains Cancellation: In view of heavy rains, South Central Railway has diverted the routes of many trains of the zone. Along with this, many trains have been completely cancelled. Let’s see which trains are cancelled and diverted.
Trains Cancellation: Due to torrential rains, there is a flood like situation in many districts of Andhra and Telangana. So far about 19 people have died due to floods and rains in both the states. Some areas are filled with water up to 10 feet. 2.76 lakh people have been affected by this flood in the city. In view of the waterlogging situation at many places, the Railways has cancelled many trains and diverted trains of many routes. If you are going to travel by train, then check the list of cancelled trains once before the journey. So that you do not face any kind of inconvenience.
Change in pattern of train services
South Central Railway has advised the following change in the pattern of train services following heavy rains in the zone and due to heavy water flow/water logging at Rayanapadu station in Vijayawada-Kazipet section of South Central Railway.

- Train No 22859 Puri Dr MGR Chennai Central leaving Puri on 1st September 2024 at 17.30 hrs is completely cancelled. Train No 12655 Ahmedabad – Dr MGR Chennai Central Navjeevan Express scheduled to leave on 3rd September 2024 at 21.25 hrs is completely cancelled.
- Train No 12841 Shalimar – Dr MGR Chennai Central leaving on 3rd September 2024 at 15.20 hrs is completely cancelled.

- Train No. 22817 Howrah – Mysore Express leaving on 6th September 2024 at 16.10 hrs is completely cancelled.
- Train No. 12760 Hyderabad Tambaram Charminar Express leaving on 2nd September 2024 at 18.00 hrs is completely cancelled.
- Train No. 12669 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Chhapra Ganga Kaveri Express leaving on 2nd September 2024 at 17.40 hrs is completely cancelled.
- Train No. 12670 Chhapra – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Ganga Kaveri Express leaving on 4th September 2024 at 21.00 hrs is completely cancelled.
- Train No. 12615 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – New Delhi Grand Trunk Express leaving on 2nd September 2024 at 18.40 hrs is completely cancelled.

- Train No. 17210 Kakinada Town – SMBT Bengaluru Sheshadri Express leaving on 1st September 2024 at 17.25 hrs is completely cancelled.
- Train No. 17209 SMBT Bengaluru-Kakinada Town Sheshadri Express scheduled to leave on 4th September 2024 at 11.30 hrs has been completely cancelled.

Routes of these trains have been diverted
- Train No. 22645 Indore – Kochuveli Express scheduled to leave on 2nd September 2024 at 16.45 hrs has been diverted to run on alternate route skipping stoppages between Warangal and Gudur.
- Train No. 22674 Mannargudi Bhagat Kothi Express scheduled to leave on 2nd September 2024 at 13.15 hrs has been diverted to run on alternate route skipping stoppages between Chennai Egmore and Warangal.
- Train No. 12642 Nizamuddin-Kanyakumari Express leaving on 2nd September 2024 at 05.20 hrs has been diverted to run on alternate route skipping stoppages between Balharshah and Dindigul.
- Train No. 22352 SMBT Bengaluru-Patliputra leaving on 2nd September 2024 at 13.50 hrs has been diverted to run on alternate route skipping stoppages between Krishnarajapuram and Warangal.
