After the corona epidemic in the year 2020, as soon as the year 2021 had knocked, thousands and lakhs of candidates dreamed that this year would be full of hope for them, they would get better opportunities in the future.
The loss caused to the careers of the students due to the corona epidemic in the year 2020 will be compensated for in the coming year i.e. 2021. But in the case of becoming a government teacher, it remained a dream. From the beginning of the year, the entire year was filled with despair for the candidates waiting for the conduct of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test and then for appointment as teachers in schools.
The UPTET exam to be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) was to be held in early 2021. According to media reports, the UPTET exam could not be conducted for teacher recruitment in the state in the year 2020, which was to be held earlier this year.
The first schedule was released on March 15
UPBEB first released the UPTET 2021 exam schedule on March 15, 2021, at the beginning of the year. According to this, the notification of UPTET 2021 was to be released on May 11 and the application was expected to start from May 18 to June 1, 2021. According to the timetable, the exam was to be held on July 25, but, due to the second wave of COVID-19 in April, the officials postponed the UPTET exam.
Registration process started in October
The registration process started in October for the exam which was postponed in July. Accordingly, the forms were submitted by October 25. With this, it was decided to conduct the examination on November 28, 2021.
Paper leak on November 28
On November 28, the UP TET exam was to be held in two shifts. In the first shift, the primary level examination was to be held between 10 am to 12.30 am and in the second shift between 2.30 to 5 pm, the upper primary level examination was to be held. 2554 centers were made for the first shift and 1754 centers for the second.
In this, 1291628 candidates were to appear in the primary level and 873553 in the junior level. But even before the start of the first shift exam, news has come that the paper has been leaked. After some time, news started coming that the paper has been leaked in Meerut, Prayagraj and other cities.
Since then action is going on in the matter of exam leak. Along with this, the candidates are waiting for the new exam dates. Now there are only a few days left for the year to end. In such a situation, it is difficult to conduct the examination in such a short time.
Years passed in waiting for CTET
The condition of CTET exam is also not much better. Although according to the schedule released by the CBSE Board, now the examination is to be conducted from December 16, but from the beginning of the year, candidates are also waiting for this examination.
