Do not share UPI address
To avoid cyber fraud, do not share your UPI address with anyone. UPI address can be your phone number, QR code or Virtual Payment Address (VPA), UPI PIN number anything in between.
Verify ID
While transferring money to someone through UPI, one should check the UPI account of the person in front. Sometimes money gets transferred in someone else’s name by mistake. Therefore, before doing the transaction, you can transfer a small amount of Re 1 and in this way also it can be verified.
Do not use apps
Do not use multiple apps for digital payments or transactions. Because while using many apps, there is scope for mistake. In case of any problem with the app, take help of the help center. Do not take help from any outsider in this regard.
