Vande Bharat Express: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today started the first Vande Bharat Express train between Delhi and Dehradun to give a big gift to Uttarakhand. This train will be an important mode of transport and will provide great facilities for the people of Uttarakhand to travel. Which was inaugurated at Anand Vihar Railway Station in Delhi at 11 am. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined through virtual medium and inaugurated the train.

CM should be present at Dhami Doon railway station
During the inauguration, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh was present at Dhami Doon railway station while Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was present at Saharanpur Junction. Let us inform that Vande Bharat Express will leave for Dehradun from Delhi Anand Vihar station at 1 pm on Thursday and will reach Dehradun at 5:25 pm.

Station decorated with flowers
Doon Railway Station has been decorated with flowers for the inauguration of Vande Bharat Express. Vande Bharat Express will leave from Platform Number-2 for Delhi Anand Vihar Railway Station. In terms of security, Railway Police Force and GRP (Jeevarakshak Railway Police) have been deployed. During the program, there will be a strict vigil on the people coming and going through CCTV so that there is no lapse. Big TV screens have also been arranged at the railway station for the programme. This will provide convenience to the passengers and they will be able to watch the program in the best possible way.
Dehradun-New Delhi Vande Bharat train schedule
Vande Bharat Express train will leave Dehradun at 7 am and reach Anand Vihar Railway Station at 11:45 am. After this, a train named Shaan will leave at 5:50 pm and reach Dehradun at 10:35 pm. The train on this route will cover a distance of 314 kilometers and will complete it in just 4 hours 45 minutes as against earlier Shatabdi Express taking 6 hours 10 minutes and Jan Shatabdi and Nanda Devi Express taking 5 hours 50 minutes. The inauguration of this new train will be a faster and easier mode of travel for the people of Uttarakhand. The operation of Vande Bharat Express train will start from Sunday and it will not be served on Wednesday.
Travel for free on the first day
Let us inform that today is the first day of Vande Bharat Express free travel. However, tickets will have to be taken after due diligence. Vande Bharat Express has a total of 8 coaches and has a passenger capacity of 570. According to media reports, the chair car fare of the train will be Rs 535 between Dehradun to Delhi, which is much less than that of the Shatabdi Express. The fare for a chair car in Shatabdi Express is Rs 805 and for an executive class ticket is Rs 1,405. Tourism in the state has got a boost after the introduction of Vande Bharat train. Now passengers will take less time to travel from Delhi to Haridwar, Mussoorie and Rishikesh.
Train will stop at these stations
Vande Bharat Express going from Dehradun to New Delhi will actually stop at some important stations. Some of these stations are Haridwar Junction, Hindon Cabin Station, Tapri Junction, Meerut City and Ghaziabad. It is an 8 coach Vande Bharat Express and its average speed will be 64 kmph. Passengers will be able to reach different cities of northern India easily by stopping at these stations.
