Vande Bharat Express Train 16 coaches of Vande Bharat Express 2 ready, passengers will be able to travel from July. Two rakes are being prepared at Integral Coach Factory, Chennai. Trial will be done after putting seats and bogies on a rack.
Another rake of 16 coaches of version two of the indigenously made Vande Bharat Express train has been ready at Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Chennai. Now the seats and wheels (bogie) will be installed in the finished rake. After the trial, passengers will be able to travel in it from July. For the convenience of the passengers, many new features have been added to this train.
Passengers travel for about eight hours in Vande Bharat Express, so special care has been taken for the comfort of the passengers. The reclining seat of the train has been equipped with pushback. Apart from this, security features have also been added. Four emergency windows are provided in each compartment.
Fire survival cables will be used in doors and windows, which will make it easy to open doors and windows even in case of fire. Also, instead of two, four emergency push buttons have now been installed in each coach.
Alarm will sound as soon as you smoke
A smoke alarm has been installed in the finished compartment. The alarm will sound as soon as the passenger smokes. Four mics and switches have been installed in each coach. Apart from this, even if the train stops after a power failure, the light in the compartment will keep on. The lighting system is connected to the battery.
Target to prepare 48 racks in a year
At present, Vande Bharat rakes are being prepared only in Chennai, but soon Vande Bharat rakes will also be manufactured at Kapurthala in Punjab and Modern Rail Coach Factory located in Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh. Every month two boxes will be produced in three factories. A target has been set to prepare 48 rakes in a year and put them on the track.
Vande Bharat can also run between Chandigarh-Amritsar from New Delhi
Presently Vande Bharat Express train is running between New Delhi to Varanasi and New Delhi to Katra. Now it can also be run on the route of New Delhi-Chandigarh or New Delhi-Amritsar. The average speed of Shatabdi and Rajdhani is not coming above 90, but the average speed of Vande Bharat is coming up to 100 kmph.
Let us tell you that Vande Bharat Express was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019 between Varanasi to New Delhi. It is the effort of the Ministry of Railways to derail 88 new Vande Bharat trains by next year.
