Vande Bharat Express Train Fare: Indian Railways has a plan to run Vande Bharat Express train across the country, for which Vande Bharat Express train has been started for most of the states of the country so far. Indian Railways is now considering giving concession in fares on some routes. According to a PTI report, the Indian Railways is reviewing the fares of Vande Bharat trains for short distances with fewer passengers.
This review is being done in view of reducing the fares of Vande Bharat Express trains. It has been said in the report that along with Vande Bharat trains like Indore-Bhopal, Bhopal-Jabalpur and Nagpur-Bilaspur Express, some other trains are also likely to fall in this category. Wherein Bhopal-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Service 29 Indian Railways, Vande Bharat Express Train, Vande Bharat Express Train Fare, Vande Bharat Express Train Route, Vande Bharat Express Train Update Tisht Occupancy has been registered.
Train ticket may be reduced after review
On the other hand, the Indore-Bhopal Vande Bharat Express has only 21 per cent occupancy. The cost of travel on this route is Rs 950 for an AC chair car ticket and Rs 1,525 for an executive chair car ticket. It has been said in the report of PTI that after the review of the Railways, the fare of this Vande Bharat service can be reduced significantly so that it can be decided that more people use the train service.
Fare can also be reduced in these trains
Nagpur-Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express train is also being reviewed. Its average occupancy is around 55 per cent. With a journey time of around 5 hours 30 minutes, common people feel that it would be much better if the prices were reduced. Currently, the fare for the executive class is Rs 2,045, while the fare for the chair car is Rs 1,075. The Bhopal-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, which has seen 32 per cent occupancy, while the Jabalpur-Bhopal Vande Bharat service has 36 per cent occupancy in the return journey, is also likely to see a reduction in fares.
Vande Bharat Express trains running at full capacity
Significantly, till now 46 Vande Bharat Express trains are being run in India for most of the states of the country. Vande Bharat trains with top occupancy are Kasaragod to Trivandrum train and Gandhinagar to Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express. Vande Bharat trains run at full capacity except for a few places.
