Vande Bharat Express Trains: Vande Bharat Express train is being run on many routes in the country. Indian Railways and the Central Government plan to run 75 Vande Bharat Express trains in the country by March 2024. In view of this, new trains are being launched every day. Besides, preparations have also been made to introduce two new versions of Vande Bharat Express trains. It is expected that Railways is preparing to bring Vande Bharat Sleeper version and Metro Vande Bharat and it will be launched during this financial year.
Blue and white colored Vande Bharat Express is currently being operated in the country and it is the fastest running train in the country. Its top speed is 180 km per hour, whereas currently this train is running at a speed of 130 kmph. Due to this, travel time has been reduced by 25 to 45 percent.
Vande Bharat Train for Jammu and Kashmir
Indian Railways has now planned to run trains for Jammu and Kashmir. The ultra modern train for Jammu and Kashmir and North Eastern State will be run in the current financial year only. Although there is no definite time as to when it will run, but it is decided by the Railways that Vande Bharat Express train will be run for the Jammu Kashmir line in the current financial year.
Vande Bharat Express train for North East Railway
Railways has planned to run two more Vande Bharat Express trains for the Northeast. One train will be run for Tripura, while the other Vande Bharat Express train will be run for Meghalaya. Both these trains can be launched during the next financial year. This train will operate with eight coaches and two types of seating arrangements, Executive AC Chair Car and AC Chair Car.
When will the Jammu and Kashmir Vande Bharat Express start?
Vande Bharat Express in Jammu and Kashmir will be launched after the construction of Jammu-Srinagar line. It is noteworthy that Vande Bharat Express trains are being prepared in the factory in Chennai. It is being said that Vande Bharat Express for Jammu and Kashmir will be designed differently.
