Vande Bharat Express: Five new route Vande Bharat trains will be started from June 26 by the Indian Railways. No new Vande Bharat has been started after the train accident in Balasore, Odisha on 2nd June. Now PM Modi’s video conferencing is expected to start semi-high-speed trains. This is the first time when five semi high speed trains will be flagged off in a single day. With this, by the end of June, a total of 23 trains will start operating in the country. Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express
The program of flagging off the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat Express was canceled after the Balasore train accident. Keeping in view the improvement in connectivity, the train will be started now. The train will stop at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Ratnagiri, Kankavli, Thivim and Madgaon during the journey.
Bengaluru-Hubli-Dharwad Vande Bharat
Two semi high speed trains will start operating in Karnataka with Vande Bharat connecting Bengaluru, Hubli and Dharwad. The train will be operated in South Western Railway. It is expected to stop at Yeshvantpur, Davanagere and Hubli stations. In addition, the travel time between Hubli and Dharwad by train is expected to reduce from 7 hours to around 5 hours.
Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express
Bihar will get the first Vande Bharat train as a train connecting Patna and Ranchi. The train is expected to have stoppages at Gaya, Koderma, Hazaribagh Road, Parasnath and Bokaro Steel City. This train will cover a distance of about 410 km.
Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat
Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express train will be the second train running from MP and Bhopal. This train is expected to connect many cities of the state. However, no information has been revealed about the stoppage of the train so far.
Bhopal-Jabalpur Vande Bharat
Bhopal-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express will be the third semi high speed train for MP. Along with this, this will also be the third train running from Rani Kamlapati railway station of Bhopal.
