Vande Bharat Train: Vande Bharat train, which used to run mostly with 8 to 16 coaches till now, is now going to run with 20 coaches. A trial run has been done with 20 coaches in Vande Bharat train on Mumbai-Ahmedabad route. This train has run on the track at a speed of 130 km. This train has been successfully trialled.

Vande Bharat, which runs in different parts of the country, will now help in eliminating the hassle of waiting tickets. Vande Bharat train, which used to run mostly with 8 to 16 coaches till now, is now going to run with 20 coaches. A trial run has been done with 20 coaches in Vande Bharat train on Mumbai-Ahmedabad route. This train has run on the track at a speed of 130 km. This train has been successfully trialled.

First Vande Bharat train with 20 coaches

The Vande Bharat train journey was trialed between Mumbai and Ahmedabad with 20 coaches. If the number of coaches in the trains increases, the hassle of waiting tickets will end. The possibility of more people traveling will increase. During the trial, the maximum speed of the train was 130 km per hour. The train reached Mumbai Central via Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat.

The hassle of waiting tickets will end

Two Vande Bharat trains with 16 coaches are running between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. But in view of the huge demand for tickets, the railways decided to run the Vande Bharat Express with 20 coaches instead of 16 on this route. With the increase in the number of coaches, more passengers will get a chance to travel with confirmed tickets. In view of 100 percent occupancy and occupancy on this route, the railways have decided to run Vande Bharat with 20 coaches.

These two trains already run

The first Vande Bharat Express between Ahmedabad and Mumbai was run on 1 October 2022. In view of the huge demand, another Vande Bharat train was run between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad on 8 March 2023. Now preparations are on to put a train of 20 coaches on this route.

Ahmedabad to Mumbai in 5 hours 21 minutes

Let us tell you that during the trial run, the train left Ahmedabad at 7 am and reached Mumbai Central at 12:21 pm. Let us tell you that at present 102 Vande Bharat trains are running across the country. Currently there are more than 50 train services between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, which also includes trains like Vande Bharat, Tejas and Shatabdi Express. Currently, the Vande Bharat train running on this route passes through Vadodara, Vapi, Surat, Borivali. The Railways will soon share the complete details of the route, fare, speed, stoppage of the 20-coach Vande Bharat train. It is believed that after the trial, passengers will be able to travel by this train soon.

How much could be the fare

This train will cover a distance of 491 km between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The train will cover this distance in about 5 and a half hours. Currently, two Vande Bharat trains are running. One of which runs on Sunday and the other on the other six days of the week except Wednesday. Mumbai-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express (22961/22962) and 20902 VANDE BHARAT EXP run on this route.

The fare of Mumbai-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express is Rs 1200 for chair car and about Rs 2295 for executive class (note that facsi fare system is applicable in railways). The fare of Gandhinagar Mumbai Vande Bharat Express (20902) is also close to this. In such a situation, it is expected that the fare of the new Vande Bharat train will also be around this. However, its official announcement is awaited from the railways.
