Let us tell you that last year, Vivo launched Vivo Y100 5G smartphone in India and China, in both the countries the phone was launched with different features. The Indian variant had the Dimensity 900 chip, while the Chinese variant had the Snapdragon 695 chip. Now, according to a report from Appuals, a new version of Vivo Y100 5G is coming.

The report has also revealed pictures and details of the upcoming Vivo Y100 5G and it seems that this phone will have a different design and hardware setup compared to the earlier model. Let’s take a look at the information revealed so far…

Basic specifications of Vivo Y100 5G (expected)

The latest model flaunts a fresh design, with three camera rings on the back. It is expected to come in blue and purple colors, with the purple version having a leather-like finish and anti-stain coating. The phone will be quite thin, with a thickness of 7.79 mm and weight of 185 grams. It will come with dual stereo speakers and for durability, the phone will come with IP54 water resistant rating.

On the front, the Vivo Y100 5G will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen that will support a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits of peak brightness. The front camera will be housed in a small punch-hole cutout on the display.

The phone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. It will have 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage options, which will also support 8GB virtual RAM. On the back, you will get a triple camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel lens.

The phone will have a large 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and a USB Type-C port. For safety, the phone will have an under-display fingerprint sensor. At present there is no information about the price and launch details of the phone.
