Vodafone Rs. 198 Prepaid Pack Revised to Offer 1.4GB Data per Day
To compete with Reliance Jio and Airtel in the Indian telecom sector, Vodafone has come up with a revised version of its Rs. 198 prepaid pack. The pack now offer 1.4GB data per day to the users. Comes with unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, and 100 SMSes each day, the validity of the revised pack remains constant at 28 days for the user. This plan is launched to counter Airtel’s Rs. 199 pack and Jio’s Rs. 149 pack.
The Rs. 198 pack for Vodafone prepaid subscribers previously had beneficial features including 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calls (250 minutes a day and 1,000 minutes each week), and 100 SMSes per day. The new revised pack, however, takes on Airtel Rs. 199 which was recently revised to offer 1.4GB per day and Jio’s Rs. 149 that got re-launched to offer 1.5GB data per day. All three packs have a common validity of 28 days.
Vodafone recently upgraded its Rs. 458 and Rs. 509 prepaid packs to offer more data. With a validity of 84 days, the Rs. 458 pack offers 1GB data per day (total limit of 84GB). On the other hand, the Rs. 509 pack offers the same data limit with a validity of 91 days (total limit of 91GB). Both packs also have bundled unlimited voice calls and messages (above conditions apply).
As a part of Reliance Jio’s Republic Day 2018 offer, the company updated most of its popular prepaid packs to offer up to 50% more data than before. Along with its Rs. 199 pack, Airtel also updated the Rs. 448 and Rs. 509 prepaid packs to offer 1.4GB 3G/ 4G data each day to the user instead of the earlier 1GB per day. Validity for the two packs is days and days respectively.
