For this, a heat wave alert has been issued till April 4.

According to the UP Meteorological Department, the Western Disturbance over Iran has reached UP via Afghanistan, Pakistan and Punjab, so there are chances of drizzle and rain in the southern districts. For the next 5 days, there may be drizzle along with cloudy weather in UP. There is a possibility of rain with strong winds on March 16 and 17. Its effect will be seen in many areas including Noida, Ghaziabad and Meerut adjacent to Delhi.

- The maximum temperature in Lucknow will be between 35 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be between 19 degree Celsius. Today it is expected to be sunny all day.
- Jhansi, Agra, Hamirpur and Prayagraj will be the hottest districts of Uttar Pradesh.
- Jhansi’s maximum temperature is expected to be 37 degree Celsius with Agra and Hamirpur being 36 degree Celsius. Prayagraj’s temperature will be 35 degree Celsius.
- Apart from Jhansi, Hamirpur, Agra and Prayagraj districts, the maximum temperature will range from 30 degree Celsius to 34 degree Celsius in other districts of Uttar Pradesh including Kanpur, Hardoi, Gorakhpur, Varanasi and Meerut.
