BH Number Plate Series: If you have a car, then you must know that while buying a car, you do not have to pay only for the car. Rather, you have to pay many other charges apart from road tax. Actually, BH series number plate is a special type of number plate. If you get it installed in your car, then after this you do not have to get your vehicle registered again when you shift to another state.
Who are eligible?
If you want to get BH series number plate installed in your vehicle, then you first have to know whether you are eligible or not…
- State and central government employees
- Defense sector employees
- Bank employees
- Administrative service employees and employees of private firms having offices in more than four states or union territories can get these number plates installed.

This is how you can get the number plate:-
Step 1
- For this, first of all you have to login to the vehicle portal of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways parivahan.gov.in/parivahan//node/1978
- After this, click on the option of ‘Vehicle Registration’ and then select your state
Step 2
- Then you have to click on ‘Apply For New Registration’
- After this, go to the menu and select the option of ‘Bharat Series’ and then fill the vehicle information like owner’s name, engine and chassis number etc.
- Now upload your ID proof and other documents too
Step 3
- Then you have to deposit the registration fee and keep the slip you get safely
- After this, your application is verified by the RTO and if everything is found correct, you are issued a BH series number plate.
