Recently, the country’s leading IT company Wipro Limited had announced to spend one billion dollars on training all its 2.5 lakh employees in AI and adopting this technology in offering products.

$ 2 billion spent: Now Infosys has announced a deal with one of its existing strategic customers for artificial intelligence and automation development. The company told the stock market that total customer target spending is estimated to be $2 billion over 5 years. Infosys did not give details about this deal but it is believed that it will be told in detail along with the announcement of quarterly results on July 20.

Earlier in the month of May, Infosys launched Topaz. It was a new offering from the company, which combines data analytics, artificial intelligence and generative AI.

TCS also active: IT giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is betting big on Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen-AI), an emerging technology, as it has already received over 100 offers from clients. TCS will use the help of its 65,000 domain experts, which the IT company has in different industries.

Wipro also plans: Wipro Limited has announced to spend one billion dollars on training all its 2.5 lakh employees in Artificial Intelligence and adopting this technology in offering products. Wipro said that a part of this amount to be spent over the next three years will be spent on adopting this technology across all internal operations and solutions offered to customers in the cloud, data analytics, consulting, bringing together 30,000 employees of the engineering team.
