Google has started this temporary deal for its full time employees till September 30. In this also some terms and conditions have been applied. Employees will have to pay with personal credit cards as hotel stays are not included in their business travel. Google has taken this initiative to fix its hybrid work model.
Break from the morning rush
The company wrote in the description that imagine a break from the morning rush and an extra hour to sleep. This hotel is in Google’s 42-acre campus. NASA’s Ames Research Center is right next to it. The hotel has a spectacular rooftop deck and a host of local activities can also be done on the weekends. This hotel can accommodate 4000 people simultaneously.
Rubbish idea
Some employees did not like this idea at all. Some feel with this deal that they are giving their money to Google only. Some people feel that this will also lead to a decline in their work life balance. People also raised financial questions regarding this offer that paying $ 99 for one night stay means depositing $ 3000 a month in Google’s hotel. People have even said that they spend less than this to live in their apartments. An employee said that if they were taking $ 60 a night, it would be fine, but $ 99 is too much.
Offer is beneficial
