New Delhi, Tech Desk. Redmi, the sub-brand of Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi, has teased another variant of its K30 5G smartphone launched last year. This variant will be launched as Redmi K30 5G ‘Speed Edition’. The mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G processor has been used in the Redmi K30 5G launched last year . However, the new variant will use its upgraded processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G. This may be the world’s first smartphone to be launched with this processor. This smartphone has been teased by Chinese e-commerce website JD.com.
Xiaomi has teased this smartphone under the name of Redmi K30 5G ‘Speed Edition’. It can be launched in the Chinese market tomorrow i.e. on May 11. This will be the upgraded model of Redmi K30 5G launched in December last year. Changes cannot be seen in any feature other than the phone’s processor. In the teased picture, a dual punch-hole display can be seen in the phone, just like the Redmi K30 5G. The centrally aligned quad rear camera set-up can also be seen in its back. The phone can be given a 120Hz refresh rate display.
Possible Features
Talking about the possible features of Redmi K30 5G ‘Speed Edition’, it can be launched in two storage options 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB. The phone can have a 6.67-inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Quad rear camera set-up can be given in the back of the phone. Its primary sensor can be given 64MP. Talking about other camera features of the phone, 8MP + 5MP + 2MP sensors in it can be provided with LED flash. For selfies, it can be given a 20MP + 2MP dual punch-hole camera. The phone can be launched with MIUI 11 based on Android 10. The 4,500mAh battery can be given in the phone with 30W fast charging feature.
