Xiaomi will bring the cheapest 5G smartphone, India will be launched at this price, MotoG 5G will get a fierce competition

New Delhi: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi will soon launch its affordable smartphone in India. Xiaomi’s new 5G smartphone will be the Redmi Note 9 5G. It can be launched in India for less than Rs 15,000. The Redmi Note 9 5G smartphone has been launched in China. The price of the base variant 6GB RAM 128GB storage in China of Redmi note 9 5G smartphone is about Rs 14,600. If Redmi Note 9 5G will be launched in India at the same price point, then it will become the cheapest 5G in India.

Moto G 5G will compete 

Currently, the cheapest 5G smartphone in India is Moto G 5G, which has been launched recently. The 6GB RAM 128GB storage variant of the Moto G 5G smartphone is Rs 20,999. Two other storage variants of the Redmi Note 9 5G smartphone have also been launched. Their price is also less than Moto G 5G smartphone. The 8GB RAM 128GB storage variant of the Redmi Note 9 5G comes for around Rs 16,900 and the 8GB RAM 256GB storage variant costs around Rs 19,000.

Redmi Note 9 5G specifications

The Redmi Note 9 5G smartphone has a 6.53-inch FHD + punchhole display. Its refresh rate is 60Hz. MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC will be supported in the phone. The phone will get 8GB of RAM support. Triple rear camera setup has been given on the rear panel of the phone. Its primary camera will be 48MP. Apart from this, 8MP ultra wide lens, 2MP depth sensor has been supported. 13MP is given on the front panel of the phone. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery. The phone will work on Android 10 based MIUI 12 out of the box. The dimensions of the phone will be 161.96mm × 77.25mm × 9.20mm. While the weight will be 200 grams.
