New Delhi: Preparations have been started by Xiaomi to launch the new Mi TV 5 Smart TV series in India. It may soon be introduced in the India market. Under this series, two smart TVs Mi TV5 and Mi TV5 Pro will be launched. This has been revealed by the company’s new teaser. Also, a media outlet has been sent by Xiaomi, which mentions Quantum Leap Ahead. The term Quantum refers to the Mi TV 5 Pro, which comes with Ultra-HD Quantum Dot LED (QLED) screen support. This smart TV will come in 55 inch, 65 inch and 75 inch sizes.

Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro Price and Specifications
The Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro have been launched in China in November 2019. However, in India, this smart TV can be introduced in the next year. Ultra HD screen can be supported in Mi TV 5 Pro variants with Mi TV 5. Its resolution will be 3840×2160 pixels. The Mi TV 5 has been launched in China for CNY 2,999 (around Rs 33,800). The same Mi TV 5 Pro has been introduced for CNY 3,699 (about Rs 41,700). Unlike China, both of these smart TVs can be launched in India at a higher price point. Mi TV 5 gets Rs 39,999 in India and Mi TV 5 Pro 49 Can be launched for Rs 999. QLED screens can be supported in Mi TV 5 and Mi TV 5 Pro. Also, HDR support can be provided in both smart TVs. Both these models can be supported with Android TV as well as PatchWall. Mi TV 5 Smart TV will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and Mi TV 5 Pro Smart TV will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
