7th Pay Commission: After the budget, the central government can give good news to the employees. In fact, for the past several days, a decision is expected to be taken on the arrears of dearness allowance for 18 months of central employees.

In such a situation, now a decision on this is expected after the general budget to be presented on February 1. At the same time, it is being talked about that, the government can simultaneously pay the outstanding dearness allowance of 18 months of the employees. In which up to Rs 2 lakh can be credited in the account of employees.

Decision will be taken soon in the cabinet meeting – A meeting of the Joint Consultative Mechanism with the officials of the Ministry of Finance, Department of Personnel and Training and Department of Expenditure is going to be held soon on the outstanding dearness allowance of the employees.

In which the one-time payment of DA arrears is likely to be discussed. The DA arrears of Level-1 employees will range between Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,000. Whereas Level-13 employees can get Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 as DA arrears. The Modi government can take a decision on this soon because the trade union wants to take a decision on it as soon as possible.

Talk on DA arrears is going on for a long time – Talks are going on between the central government and the employees for a long time to release the stuck money of DA arrears. It is believed that after February 1, the government may pay one-time dearness allowance to the central employees.

Talk can be made on one time settlement of DA arrears – The National Council of Consultative Machinery has demanded one time settlement of the outstanding DA arrears of 18 months from the government.

At present, the consent of Prime Minister Modi is awaited on this matter. If the PM Office accepts this demand, then a huge amount can come this year in the account of central employees.

DA is updated twice a year – The DA of Central Government employees is updated twice a year between January and July. DA is calculated by multiplying the current rate of dearness allowance with the basic pay. DA is given to government employees and public sector employees and pensioners. It is given to the employees to help them with their living expenses.
