Aadhar PVC Card consists of a digitally signed secure QR code in which photograph and demographic details are provided along with several safety features.

Aadhar Card is one of the most important documents for Indian citizens to prove their identity. Where a person can get a Unique Identity Card from the Aadhaar Enrollment Center .

UIDAI has now come up with an Aadhaar PVC Card, which can be ordered for the entire family using just one mobile number. UIDAI said in the official Twitter handle, “You can use any mobile number to get OTP for authentication, regardless of the mobile number registered with your Aadhaar . Hence, one person can order Aadhar PVC Card online for the entire family.”

Aadhaar PVC card consists of a digitally signed secure QR code in which photograph and demographic details are provided along with several safety features. However, it does not come free of cost, anyone applying for a PVC card will have to pay Rs 50 as a nominal amount.

The card can be ordered online at uidai.gov.in or Resident.uidai.gov.in using Aadhaar number, Virtual ID or Enrollment ID. Here is an easy process on how to get Aadhar PVC card online-

  • First of all go to the official website of UIDAI or type https://uidai.gov.in on the url
  • Now tap on ‘Order Aadhaar PVC Card’ service and enter your 12 digit Unique Aadhaar Number (UID) or 28 digit Enrollment.
  • Enter the security code and then click on the check box ‘If you do not have a registered mobile number, please check the box’.
  • Enter non-registered/optional mobile number. Then click on ‘Send OTP’.
  • Click on the check box next to ‘Terms and Conditions’.
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ option to complete the OTP verification.
  • Then click on ‘Make Payment’. You will be re-directed to the payment gateway page with payment options like credit/debit card, net banking and UPI.

After the payment is completed, a receipt will be generated with a digital sign which can be downloaded by the user in PDF format. Along with this, the service request number will also be sent to the user through SMS.
