Step 1: Go to UIDAI website

Go to UIDAI website, https://uidai.gov.in/ and select ‘Update Aadhaar Detail Option ’.

Step 2: Enter Aadhaar number

Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number and type the code provided in the text verification box to generate OTP. Once this is completed, click on the button Send OTP (One Time Password).

Step 3: Enter OTP and proceed

Step 4: Select the option to update Aadhaar details

Once you enter the OTP, you will see the web page which would allow you to update your Aadhaar details. Add details to make a correction/update, and then proceed to the next step.

Step 5: Upload documents

Last and final step is about uploading the scanned colored copy of your documents. It can be any government proof like PAN card, driving license and other. Once this is done, you have to make a selection of any agency, from where you want your details to be updated.

Once the entire process is completed, you will then receive a confirmation message, along with URN (Update Request Number). Keep this number safe with you. Then your updated Aadhaar card is delivered to your home, within a couple of days.
