New Delhi, Tech Desk. Airtel announced minimum recharge plans in October 2018. These minimum recharge plans were launched as mandatory recharge for every prepaid users. Without any plan or minimum recharge plan, users do not get the facility of incoming calls either. Apart from Airtel, Vodafone-Idea also launched minimum recharge plans for its users. In December last year, all telecom companies raised the rates of their prepaid plans. After which Airtel has also increased the rates of its minimum recharge plans. Three minimum recharge plans are offered for Airtel users. These recharge plans are offered for less than Rs 100.
In this basic recharge pack, users are offered 28 days of validity. In this plan, users are neither offered data nor talk-time is offered for calling. In this plan, users can make local or STD calling at the rate of 2.5 paise per second.
With this recharge pack, 28 days validity is offered to the users. In this plan, users are offered talk time of Rs 38.52. In terms of data, 100MB 4G data is offered to users in it. In this plan, users can avail local or STD voice calling at the rate of 60 paise per minute.
Rs 79 plan
In this prepaid plan, users are offered a talk time of Rs 64. The validity of this plan is also 28 days. In this basic recharge plan, users get the benefit of 200 MB 4G data. Also, users get the facility of calling at the rate of 60 paise per minute for local and STD calling.
Talking about Airtel’s Truly Unlimited prepaid plan, users are offered 28 days validity in this plan of Rs 149. In this plan, users get the benefit of a total of 2GB of data and 300 free SMS is offered. Due to the Truly Unlimited plan, users are not charged any fee for making calls on any network in this plan. Basic subscription of Airtel Xstream and Wynk Music is offered as an additional benefit in this plan.
