The state-run telecom company BSNL is going to make a big offer to its customers. BSNL is going to give the benefit of Truly Unlimited Voice Calling on its prepaid and postpaid plans. All the existing prepaid and postpaid plans of BSNL will now come with unlimited on-net and off-net voice calling benefits. That is, the company’s users will now be able to call for any number of minutes a day. BSNL will implement this change in all its circles from 10 January 2021. This has been said in the report of TelecomTalk.
Currently gets 250 minutes of voice calls right
now, BSNL is giving 250 minutes of voice calls every day on its plans. BSNL had imposed FUP limit on voice calling in August 2019. The company had made voice calls for its prepaid and postpaid subscribers. Previously, Airtel and Vodafone Idea (now Vi) also offered limited voice calling to their customers on a daily and weekly basis. However, to counter Reliance Jio and its unlimited calling benefits, Airtel and Vi started offering Truly Unlimited Voice Calls on all their plans. Now from January 10, all prepaid and postpaid plans of BSNL will come on voice calls without any FUP limit.
Reliance Jio has also been providing Jio-to-Jio calling free before January 1, 2021 in its prepaid plans. Whereas, for calling on the number of other networks, non-Jio minutes were offered according to the plans. However, the company has started giving the benefit of free calling on all networks from 1 January 2021. This step will be of great benefit to BSNL users. Earlier, the company removed Blackout Days from the BSNL network for this year.
