Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has improved its broadband. These plans are applicable for only one circle, Andaman and Nicobar circle.
Also, these plans will be applicable to both new and existing customers. Andaman and Nicobar circle has the highest broadband tariff in India and for this reason the company is now providing relief to the users by giving them many more benefits.
The move comes after speculations emerged that Airtel would enter the broadband market in Port Blair, a local news publication reported. BSNL announced amendments in its official circular. The new Fiber and DSL broadband plans will now offer these benefits:
BSNL revised FTTH broadband plans
BSNL’s Rs 499 plan offers up to 15 Mbps up to 70 GB, after which the speed drops to 512 Kbps. The next plan is priced at Rs 799 and offers 30 Mbps speed up to 120GB after which the speed drops to 512 Kbps.
The previous broadband plan under Rs 1000 is priced at Rs 999 and offers 40 Mbps up to 200GB after which the speed drops to 512 Kbps. Talking about the Rs 1499 broadband plan, it offers up to 80 Mbps up to 300GB, after which the speed drops to 2 Mbps.
On the other hand, the Rs 1899 plan offers up to 100 Mbps up to 500GB after which the speed drops to 2 Mbps. BSNL has further revised the broadband plans priced at Rs 2799, Rs 3999, Rs 5999 and Rs 7999. .
These plans will offer speeds of 150 Mbps, 200 Mbps, 250 Mbps and 300 Mbps up to 750GB, 1100GB, 1800GB and 2500GB data limits respectively. The FUP speeds of these plans are up to 2Mbps, 4Mbps, 5Mbps and 10Mbps respectively.
BSNL revised DSL broadband plans
BSNL has also revised DSL broadband plans in Andaman and Nicobar circle. All DSL broadband plans in BSNL’s circle offer 10 Mbps speed. The plans priced under Rs 1000 are priced at Rs 350, Rs 650 and Rs 1000 and offer 50GB, 150GB and 250GB respectively.
Apart from this, BSNL offers broadband plans priced at Rs 1400, Rs 1750, Rs 2750, Rs 3750, Rs 5000 and Rs 7500. These plans offer 550GB data, 900GB data, 1250GB data, 1800GB and 3000GB data respectively. The FUP speed of 1 Mbps is available in plans up to Rs 1750, while the speed of 2 Mbps is available in plans below Rs 7500.
